Once upon a time…
That is how good fairytales start, right? Well, folks. Life isn’t a fairytale. We are living in reality. 74 days from the most important election in our lifetime. Well, I know every time an election rolls around, the pundits stay this constantly, but somehow this year is different.
We survived 4 years of a nursing home patient illegitimately serving in the White House. Each day progressively seeming worse than the last. And now, we face a choice on the November ballot. Socialism or freedom… Failure or success… Communism or capitalism…
The last couple of weeks have been interesting, nonetheless. Driving a rental car, since an 18-year-old hit me full speed from behind. Finally, reclaiming an ounce of my life with a new car. The remnants of my car and my past living in Bastrop, Texas. Memories in that place of all places to lose a car that also holds memories on its own.
I started this article while sitting in Pennsylvania reflecting. After two days at Bedminster, with endless sightings of our beloved President, and a previous stop in Hot Springs, I am just wondering when we begin to see the unity build on our side of the political aisle.
In Hot Springs, I spent 2 days among a faction that I am not used to being around. I tend to be a straightshooter often to my detriment. But for those 2 days in Hot Springs, I sat among those who believe in devolution, Q… and even believe JFK Jr. is still alive and will be Vice President. I know. You hardly would believe that this was my type of crowd. Yet, I didn’t feel out of place despite our different philosophies. I had unfairly judged this segment of MAGA as the type unlikely to get involved. People who expected other people to rescue them from a fraudulent election. To the contrary, I met incredible people from all over the country. A couple from the People’s Republic of Illinois and a dentist and his wife from Atlanta Georgia were my tablemates for the VIP dinner. We spoke about the state of the country, including the future and the past. Both couples had never been to a Patriot event and were in awe of the comradery. They even wanted to know how they could get involved in the fight to save our country. Answer was easy for me. You will know when you belong. You will know when you are making a difference. I confess. I did refer them to Cause of America. With Patriots in all 50 states, the organization’s mission is clear. Free and fair elections minus the machinery…
The next day featured incredible speakers like Scott McKay, Juanita Broaderick, and even Amanda Grace. The room was filled with Patriots who didn’t agree on all the details, but they did agree on what mattered. They agreed that this country was on the wrong path, that Donald J. Trump was the answer, and they were united. They were united as MAGA. These people were the deplorables that Hillary labeled 8 years ago. They were united in love of country. Simple as that. The festivities ended with an after party that set aside politics for a few hours. I sat and observed. Often, I like to sit by myself and just watch people. I observed Patriots dancing and having fun. Couples in love and using their finger and a come-hither look to direct their mate to the dance floor. I just sat there and smiled enjoying watching their joy. And even Amanda Grace danced for a while, albeit outside of the dance floor. For those few moments, everyone was carefree and happy, even though an election that determines the future of our country was only months away…
As I referenced above, I was at Bedminster for 2 days to celebrate what would have been Phyllis Schlafly’s 100th birthday. A woman who was a heroine in life also inspired Patriots years after she passed. Panels on election integrity, J6, etc. were enlightening. Also was able to attend President Trump’s news conference. On display a man with an endless amount of stamina that puts people half his age to shame. Good memories were made those 2 days. And again, everyone was united. United by a love of country and a belief that Donald Trump was the answer to our problems. Maybe, they weren’t united about whether ballot harvesting is criminal or whether it is the answer to our problems, but they were united at the core…
In Pennsylvania, I grabbed a dessert at Perkins Cafe & Bakery at a truck stop. Wearing my apparent conservation starter jacket, I encountered a waiter, and a patron united in their support of President Trump in the upcoming election. I sat one table over from the patron, who just happened to be a female truck driver who had been a resident of Scranton for the last 25 years. We didn’t agree on everything. She wasn’t particularly fond of President Trump’s mean tweets, even though I was a fan of his boldness to say what everyone was thinking. I mentioned how I thought Kamala’s dating history to describe it mildly had enabled her to get where she was. This truck driver didn’t care how she got there. She only cared about the policies. She told me about the moment that she became a supporter of President Trump. She had been fairly apolitical, but one day, back in 2016, she sat in a restaurant. In that restaurant, a television was on, but the sound was not. She saw President Trump speaking at a podium. On the front of that podium were the words “Merry Christmas”. We had gone through a stage of wokeness when Merry Christmas wasn’t allowed. Businesses removed it from their advertising. Schools weren’t allowing the words to be uttered. Christmas trees were now being named holiday trees. When she saw that simple phrase, countering the woke population, she knew President Trump was the right man for this country. Did she agree with him on everything? No, but she applauded his “right to try” policy. I think that woman liked what a lot of us saw in President Trump. That he wasn’t a conventional politician. He believed in common sense… Doing the right thing, and to hell with the haters…
I sit here thinking about how so much unites us. That doesn’t mean I think we are united with everyone that wears a Republican badge. We have many Republicans from the establishment who claim to support Trump, now that he is the candidate, but probably ultimately, wish he loses. One such man that comes to mind is Governor Brian Kemp from the great state of Georgia. Kemp ultimately won his office with the backing of Trump, but when it came down to the truth, he betrayed President Trump and the citizenry of his state. Now people like Kemp and the establishment placate because they fear the people will turn on them. Yet, they seek to ignore the stolen election and pretend like 2020 never happened. They are not focused on solutions. They are only focused on preserving their status whether Trump is ultimately elected or whether the election is stolen again. Ultimately, they are the fence sitters with no morals that this country does not need or deserve.
I can even go further. I don’t think that even means we are united with everyone that claims to wear the badge of MAGA. I was having a discussion with someone from Georgia several weeks ago. He had a term for some of the bad people on our side. “Paid MAGA”. That term is real, yet scary. It is hard to imagine that there are people on our side who don’t do the right thing for the right reasons, but only do it to gain power, standing, and ultimately to profit. They will cut the throat of one of their own if they see someone gaining what they desire. It is hard to imagine that God will allow us to win with these types of malicious actors on our side. The type who will tell you what you want to hear and do it with a great big smile… then when you are not looking stick a knife in your back… Beware of these Judas-like characters. And if you are in the South like me, beware of those charming Southern belles who go after their targets like a shark sensing blood in the water.
I have been listening to an audio book while driving. “The Creature from Jekyll Island” is eye opening. I think the parallels with the bankers who would start wars just so they could profit and Paid MAGA is chilling. These bankers, often from America, didn’t have principles. They didn’t care if they were aiding capitalism or Communism. They would loan money to China, Russia, or anywhere else available. They only cared about getting rich… I can’t imagine people lacking a soul, but folks, we have some of these same types of people embedded among us, and that is tragic…
So no, life is not a fairytale. Some might say to use discernment. Personally, I hate that term. But be careful. Be careful of the wolves in sheep’s clothing. But also come together with those that are real. Those that love their country for the right reasons. Remember that you do not have to agree with them on the details. Don’t be so blinded about being the one in control that you ultimately lose the battle. If all the good people come together, the silent majority will no longer be silent, and ultimately, you will defeat the Communists, the Marxists, the establishment, and Paid MAGA.
Unite with those Americans that are moral. That are God fearing. That are not motivated by the love of money and power. Stand up. Never stop fighting.
United We Stand. Divided We Fall. And let’s put President Trump back in the White House… to Make America Great Again…
